This film came together in a way that felt full circle for me.

It was produced in partnership with This Is My Story — the same ministry that first inspired me to start making short documentaries about people whose lives had been radically changed. My friend Tommy, who leads the ministry now, brought great energy and clarity to the process. Collaborating with him on this one made the whole thing even more meaningful.

Alex is the kind of person you lean in to listen to. Humble, honest, and incredibly disciplined. We wanted to tell his story in a way that felt grounded but cinematic — and tried some creative things along the way (like throwing a GoPro over 70 yards, literally).

What came out of it is a film I’m proud to share.
