This project was such a unique challenge for me and my team. We wanted to weave together the founder’s story, the culture of special operations, and the missional values of the event, making a piece that was easily digestible and entertaining. But hey, I love challenges.

Before shooting, we conducted multiple pre-interviews to get a clear picture of what to expect on the day of the event. Because of that prep work, we got the best possible shots day-of.

Filming the event was inspiring. It was a joy to learn how big-hearted these soldiers were and how much they wanted to honor their fallen brothers. The final product is a display of strength, courage, and legacy.

This film was made with help from a talented crew: camera operator Levi Templeton, grip and aerial operator Jeremiah Wyble, and editor Chris Abercrombie.
